In February of 1992, the Assemblies of God commissioned Pastors Kevin and Robin Crow to start a new church in North Ridgeville. Shortly thereafter, the couple began inviting a small group of people into their home for Bible studies. By May, public worship meetings were underway in a local elementary school. Three different ministries were established' Nursery, Children's Church, and Youth. In 1995, the growing congregation purchased a large lot at 35600 Lorain Road. Two years later, the doors of the first permanent Harvest Ridge church, a brick and aluminum-sided structure, were thrown open to the congregation. In response to steady growth, an office wing and youth/children's wing were annexed in 1999 and 2003, respectively. And yet, even these improvements are now insufficient. At the time of this publication, the congregation is planning to relocate to 22 acres on SR. 83.
