Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church was established on April 9, 1976. The first Mass was celebrated on July 4, 1976, at the Columbia Middle School. In 1978, the congregation set out to construct facilities "fulfilling a fourfold purpose: worship; education; fellowship; and administration." The present structure was dedicated on September 16, 1979. The sanctuary contains large plate glass windows that overlook nearby woods and add to the naturalistic d├ęcor of the facility. Since the construction of these facilities, the church's religious education center has been relocated to Columbia Middle School. The parishioners have donated much time and effort into the church. They have built the rectory and an outdoor prayer path with Stations of the Cross. A unique birdhouse stands on the property replicating a miniature version of the church.
